After a long winter in Middle-Earth we needed a break and some fresh air. So, we brought our musical equipment to the island of Bornholm for a few days of hardcore composing… : ) It might seem a strange choice as we normally visit Cornwall or Wales, but actually this was not for the first time. Those of you who are fortunate enough to own a “first edition” of Avalon have perhaps noticed it yourselves? You might think that the picture on the front cover is taken in Tintagel or some other Arthurian location? But it is, as you can see below, from Jons Kapel on the west coast of Bornholm. There you are – a well kept secret is finally revealed! : ) Seaside greetings, ad dios

The concerts with Lunds Ungdomsorkester, LuO, took place in Lomma Church and in Lunds Stadshall. It was indeed exciting for us to listen to our music in these orchestral versions! : ) Our great thanks to conductors Carin Hallberg and Jan Svensson and, of course, all the talanted young musicians in the orchestra! For you who happened to be elsewhere at the time, or would like to hear it again, we present a recording of Overlooking from the concert in Lomma Church. Overlooking, LuO – mp3 The status of the upcoming album, Middle-Earth, is that the production is in working progress and the release will be within the next few weeks. In an attempt to take care of not only Middle-Earth, but our own Earth as well, we have decided not to use the traditional CD jewel case made of plastic; but instead recycled material for the cartonnage of the record cover! Even kinder to the environment is of course to download both the music and cover; an alternative that will be available. It is after all the music itself that really matters, not the package as such! Soon you will be able to listen to either alternative… : )

Soon our wait will be over; the new album, A Journey through Middle-Earth, is on its way! The final mix has been done and our mastering wizard Frasse Franzen is now doing his best to make the music appear at its best. We do hope that the CD will be available for our listeners during May… : ) We have earlier mentioned Bo Hansson and Isildurs Bane as our Swedish predecessors in Middle-Earth. Two persons who also have inspired us throughout the process cannot be passed by without being mentioned (there is even a special thanks on the abum cover) – Peter Jackson and Howard Shore! The impact from this film director and composer on our insight of the landscape of Middle-Earth cannot be overestimated! The treat this time is the final mix (fingers crossed!) of the track Isengard. Isengard – mp3 Mixed greetings, ad dios P.S. We remind you of the concerts with LuO, Lunds Ungdomsorkester, the youth symphony orchestra in Lund.
